The benefits of including daylight in buildings are well known: better lighting quality, reduced energy consumption, positive impact on productivity and performance in work environments, and influence on the well-being, comfort and health of users.The Daylight Design tool is intended to assist in the inclusion of natural light in the architectural design process.Daylight Design is being developed in doctoral research at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Urbanism at the State University of Campinas (FECFAU-Unicamp).
